What a brilliant brilliant brilliant show the 2008 40th Great Dorset Steam Fair was last year! Some fantastic weather (unlike the forecast for this year), lovely atmosphere, super exhibits and overall a great community spirit across all the enthusiasts present at this largest event of its kind in the world.
Here’s your chance to bid for the ultimate memento of the 2008 show…
The rally was so good that I thought I'd better bottle some of it again for future preservation, hence this video, as filmed by James Dundon, shows me filling a jam jar with original 2008 Dorset Dust now on eBay here…

Unlike the famous jar of dust I captured and sold on eBay in 2007, this year I decided to give the dust 12 months to mature to its full vintage, and have thus scheduled this listing to start on the eve of the 2009 show tonight. |

£10.50 for a pot of historic muck, delivered to your doorstep!
An absolute bargain at half the price. And a novel gift for someone.
Well done, Nick.
Can you post a picture of the organ which is to benefit from the proceeds?
Richard. |
