Wanted: Tapes of Mortier, Decap & Hooghuys dance/cafe or
Hi all, I looking to find some tapes of Mortier, Decap & Hooghuys dance/cafe organs. I would like to have 2 or 3 tapes of Mortier, Decap & Hooghuys dance/cafe organs to listen to. Some of the tapes I'm after are: 97 key Mortier at St. Albans organ theatre (formley St. Albans organ museum), also the 92 key Decap at St.Albans & tapes of 101 key & smaller Hooghuys dance organs. Any help would be great, Ben :)

Hi Ben Try looking at www.stalbansorgantheatre.org.uk for details and prices of recordings on their mechanical organs. Unfortunately, stocks of tapes for the "Four Columns" have recently sold out but there are still recordings available of the other organs there. They provide a service where they can dispatch recordings to you through the post if you are unable to get to the theatre in person. Regards David :org:

Hi David, Thanks for your reply. I've got an tape of 121 key Decap "Englands Pride" that I brought from Keith Pinner after I listened to his Decap "Lucy" at the Great Dorest Steam Fair in 1997. Thanks again for your, Ben :D

What do you mean with "smaller Hooghuys dance organs"?

Hmm, that leaves me up to ex-Turner's 86-key and the Condor (100-key). No tapes of Ted Bowman's organ, as far as I know ...
