The MOOS Tour 2008
The Mechanical Organ Owners Society in conjunction with History in harmony presents... THE EIFEL TOUR 14th- 17th November 2008 No, we’re not going to Paris, but this year the ever-popular MOOS tour does take us to the beautiful Eifel region of Germany plus many other places far and wide in Holland and Belgium. It also offers a chance to visit the open weekend of the De Voer family, and a much-requested visit to the workshops of Johnny Verbeeck at St Job in’t’Goor. This tour will be finding organs in some places where no tour has gone before! Get the full details and book your place now at www.moos.org.uk and click onto MOOS Tour. See you on the coach! All the best, James.

Jake Preston- 09-12-2008

lol, i thought you were older too, im guessing your quite young too

Justin Senneff- 09-12-2008

IMO truly, the mechanical music youth in England is so lucky compared to the mech music youth in America.

Jake Preston- 09-13-2008

Well, there is quite alot of us over here, and we all are connected via MSN and Mobile and that sorta stuff, and all the organ owners/Keepers get to know you and let you have a go.

Justin Senneff- 09-13-2008

True True True if only our mechanical music was "out there" per say. Thankfully the President of A.M.I.C.A is stressing mechancial music to be out in the open(but no one seems to give a Clark Gable about what he says).

Important Changes to the Trip...
Hello All, there are some places left on the coach for anyone still considering. There has been a change regarding travel arrangements, the coach company booked for the forthcoming MOOS trip has advised History in Harmony that because of the recent fire in the Channel Tunnel Eurotunnel will not be able to take us to and from the Continent in November. Therefore the coach will now use a P&O Ferry from Dover to Calais, as in previous years. Please anyone with any questions, do get in touch via our website, where more details of the trip can be obtained. www.moos.org.uk all the very best, James Dundon.

The 2008 MOOS tour is now less than 4 weeks away! If you are thinking of booking, please do so as soon as possible as we are about to release any spare hotel rooms for the hotels to use, if required, for other guests. So, we may not be able to accommodate you if you leave your booking until the last minute. The itinerary of the tour remains as advertised on the MOOS web site, see http://www.moos.org.uk/ and click on "The MOOS Tour 2008". A special extra feature is the visit to the exhibition "Continental Superstar", featuring 16 organs from the former Ghysels Collection, on the last day. I look forward to seeing many of you on the tour! Regards, Peter
