The Dean project on the trolley Just like to say thanks for all you interest in our Dean organ project,
Now for the photos of the organ on the trolley going in to storage.
Probably like the rest of my collection forever.
All the best from Phil Radford

MIDI Pianola playing with a MIDI organ I do have a lot more of this kind of article if I permitted to carry on, on iMOD.
The next one will be my MIDI Pianola playing with a MIDI organ I have built.

Why into storage ? I thought you were going to build a showman's trailer for it ? Couldn't you keep it as a talking point in your living room while you are finishing the trailer ? :-)

Keep the articles coming. Lots of photos are good - although it looks like your last post might have had an image capacity problem. You might want to resize them down to something like 400x300 to for web use. That makes them easier to view in the 'forum' window as well.
Stephen.

Rolling along. Thanks for that I have emailed James about this, will ask him to remove the posting and I will re-post it. I don’t have any room in the front room. I have some kind of organ or something like it in every room. One more is just a bit too much even for me. Yes, I’m going to do the trailer but work has got me tied down at the moment. And her indoors has had a bad accident in the last week and broken her wrist she’s in pot. So it will be about 12 weeks before I will be starting on the trailer. Thanks Phil Radford.

There you go, sorry not to have responded to your email yesterday Phil, I have been in bed with the man flu, and am still here with a blanket over my legs!
Have a go at re-posting them, and please do post anything you think will be of interest. I saw the photo's before they disappeared, and you have certainly been very busy!
I have always had the ambition of owning a house with an organ (like a Decap) in the front room!
We all have dreams!

Still not better then James? Not too sure how you ended up with a cold at this time of the year! And you said Shropshire weather was chilly?!
Trolley looks good Phil – I can’t believe how close you were for headroom fitting it in the garage – quite a tight squeeze that one! Have you any timescale plans for completing the trailer, and are you going to be modifying or adding to the instrument at all?
Best of luck with it all!

From the side, it is surprising how much pipe work is in that organ really.
At least you’re lucky to have a dry place to store it.
Do you have room to get inside the garage to put a book through it every now and then?
What about this pianola then?
Phil Radford- 04-22-2006
Yes James I can get in to the garage & play the Dean. I have done some Pianola video clips for iMOD but I’m not to pleased with them. I ‘m going to re-record the clips. But work has got me tied down right now. All the best from Phil Radford

I have fond memories of being at the keyframe of the Dean over the last couple of years when helping Alan out. Look forward to seeing it out & about again in the future.

Looking forward to seeing the construction of the bodywork Phil; will it be formed with aluminium panels on a steel frame? Any plans for an extravagant opening roof to keep the transit heignt down? Any predications of the total weights once completed?
All the best with this facinating project,
Nick
