Reed organ another of my projects.
Hi, me again just another of my projects. I received a video from one of my idles John Smith, and as a tape filler John kindly put an extra video clip of a reed organ that he had modified. Now me being me took one look at that and ran out to the shed and built my own version. And after modifying/sorting/writing some music for the reed organ I decided I wasn’t impressed and abandoned it there and then. I haven’t put this out for general viewing before as I was a bit embarrassed with the photos and video. Not to mention the build it was a bit clunky when playing. The reed organ no longer exists like a lot of my home builds when I finished with them and I have had my fun they usually end up in the bin. Now I was reviewing one of my hard drives and was about to delete these files of the reed organ forever. But I considered if john smith and some other builders had done the same and deleted all there ideas and not shared them, most of us wouldn’t have a pipe organ and probably wouldn’t even have found we had an interest in pipe organs. Not as I’m saying the reed organ was my idea in anyway. Now with all the above in mind I thought someone might have an interest in doing something similar so here goes my red face. And I do apologise for the quality of the photos and video clips.
