Gbr. Bruder? Although the title says Gavioli. It does seem to have a Waldkirch sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8rTzROAI1Y
Ok, so it's a piano! Nice arrangement of William Tell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9nmxAAEc40

The "Gebr.Bruder" mentioned in the previous post is probably a 65er Gavioli.
Eddy Nickson- 03-30-2007
Hi there,
Wow what a fantastic sounding organ!
The Gebr Bruder belongs to the collection at Musée Baud http://www.museebaud.ch/index.php it has 66keys and it did feature in this months keyframe magazine.

Not exactly YouTube, an audio slideshow of Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's new Wurlitzer 165 being tuned: http://www.santacruzlive.com/blogs/video/2007/04/02/audio-slideshow-tuning-up-a-new-organ/

The tune is "American Beauty" by Oreste Vessella

Not a mechanical organ in the sense we understand it, but mechanical in that it is operated by a system of levers from the keys to the pipes. I apologise for the deviation from our particular subject, but these three clips are well worth seeing - and hearing. They are all manually played. The first clip is taken from a TV program (not by me) and has some intriguing shots of the internal action in the organ:

The next two are of the fabulous Cavaille-Coll organ in the church of St Sulpice in Paris. The action is mechanical, with the assistance of the famous Barker Lever pneumatic action. I have had the privelege of being present at this console while being played. For these clips it is best to hook your computer up to a 5.1 sound system.

The clip of the 1912 North Tonawanda Band Organ John Merchant spotted is quite interesting (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkwAf08WNYA). The uploader of the video to YouTube states it as being ’16 key’ but that’s a misprint (46 key I would assume as it’s the same scale as my No.37 barrel player NTMIW instrument but with the two percussion notes present). This one unusually plays from a continuous paper roll system (an original factory option instead of barrel), hence the set of vacuum producing bellows (‘pump’) in the top of the case which are in addition to the positive pressure bellows and reservoir in the normal place… Anyway, some more YouTube video clips…
