Christmas tunes on Het Zonnetje (note the festive hats on the bellringers!)…

Notice on all of these street organ videos how uninterested th public is with these organs playing in the street!
Not sure about the extra percussion on that organ though, a rattling money box didn't quite work

Sadly James the comments on the clip in Dutch are not too encouraging .
Ik vind draaiorgel muziek geweldig!- I find Street organ music terrible.
But then again the camera-person found the organ interesting, so it takes all sorts!

One can’t expect everybody to like organ music I guess Chris, but an interesting topic all the same – see the thread relating to this under 'General Discussions' at http://organ.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=695.

Considering almost all meduim to large towns in the Netherlands have their resident street organs, playing on the same streets every week, and moving location about every half-hour, the public are thoroughly used to them.

The rattling of the money tins is traditional too. The traditional tins are specially made - like large sardine tins with the lower half covered to keep the coins inside when rattled, hopefully in time with the music.

John

Towards the end of the clip you can see several people peering into the innards of the machine (in the back.) There may also be observers behind the camera person carefully staying out of his or her way.
And this is another of those situations where the organ has been thrown into the path of people with other objectives. Playing Anglo-American music in a Dutch street to boot.

As Dutch is my native language I must say to Chris that the meaning of "geweldig" in this case is very positive and comparable to fantastic, powerfull, mighty, enormous... in English!
Ik vind draaiorgelmuziek verschrikkelijk! = I find street organ music terrible
but "ik vind draaiorgelmuziek verschrikkelijk aardig! = I find street organ music very nice.
Dutch is a rather complex language. Don't jump to the wrong conclusions.

Many thanks Johnny for explaining this, I'm still learning :D
Well it does say Gebr Bruder Waldkirch on the cartouche on the facade. That style facade was used on the 67 keyless Style 103's.

Bruder The organ is the Style 104 80 keyless Gebrueder Bruder in Siegfried Wendel's Museum in Rudesheim. It is shown in a photo when it was brand new in the first Juttemann book. The Bruder is located at the back of the wine celler fair organ display room. The Bruder was part of a hoard of music machines found in a building in Budapest around 1988. In the barn were a Welte Style 6, 2 Philipps Paganinis, large 80 keyless Molzer, the pipework of a Monster Paganini, several Paganini roll changers, two Welte Philharmonic orchestrions, a 79 key Wrede, this Bruder with the Moorish style facade, and 2 Bruder 52 key 107's.
What is interesting is that when Siegfried found this "hoard" most of the organs were taken apart! His son Jens spent countless hours sorting it all out! The story does not end there! A friend of the horder had a large Paganini playing Philipps Paganini rolls from a duplex roll changer. It was tubed up to a large Welte orchestion with Hupfeld Helios components! Evidently these two hoarders had acquired all the Philipps stuff from the Heinrich Voigt Company in Hochst, Germany who had gotten all the remainder of the Philipps Company. WHAT A FIND!
The story is all recounted in Siefried Wendel's new book with the Hupfeld Phonoliszt Violina on the cover. The Sultan director on the Bruder and his harem of bell ringers are spectacular carvings!
