I made up long post earlier but hit preview instead of send so here it is again...
This was posted in the MMD, I'm copying it here so we have it all in one place...
Thanks to D. L. Bullock for the URLs of mechanical music videos on
YouTube! Here are a few nice ones I found featuring carousels with
live band organs playing.
This is taken by a rider on the Glen Echo, Maryland, Dentzel carousel,
with its Wurlitzer 165 band organ playing some of the tune "Nola."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PE6FI4RNPsc
Here's the Griffith Park Spillman carousel in Los Angeles, Calif., with
its Stinson 165 (model 87) band organ playing "Charley My Boy." The
whole tune is here -- except for the last note! (The organ playing
is the one outside the carousel, not the North Tonawanda organ in the
center.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snWrTShcR8g
This one is the newly-carved Coolidge Park carousel in Chattanooga,
Tenn., with its Stinson 165 (model 57) playing some of "We Must Have
A Song To Remember." (Next to the organ is a small mock-up facade
resembling a Wurlitzer 165.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wuC95rKBNE
Here is the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (Calif.) Looff carousel with its
Ruth organ (165 rolls or MIDI of same) playing part of "I Went To Your
Wedding." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZc09qDZarg
This is taken on the Bushnell Park Stein & Goldstein carousel in
Hartford, Conn., with its Wurlitzer 153 playing the end of "While
Strolling Through The Park One Day" and some of "In The Good Old
Summertime." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRhhFR5OLjU&NR
And here's a short clip of the Prospect Park Carmel carousel in
Brooklyn, N.Y., with its Wurlitzer 153 playing "Wedding Of The Winds."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MXHBI-lrpM
With the exception of Santa Cruz, the band organs are visible in all
of these videos.
Also, it's not a band organ, but here's an Aeolian Pianola playing
"Blue Skies" (complete). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eG-i652novo
On YouTube there are also numerous videos of other carousels (some
hand-carved and some fiberglass) that are using recorded music at them.
In several, recognizable recordings from Carrousel Music, Marion Roehl
Recordings, and Klavier Recordings can be heard.
And how about that YouTube? A couple of guys started a web site where
people can post videos, and now the guys are billionaires because the
site was bought by Google! (Well, maybe that's oversimplifying it a bit.)

He has a number of other pieces up, also.

And finally a short clip of a Calliope “Steam Organ” (with real steam at last!):
That one reminded me of the occasion I attended the MBSI rally in Fremont Ohio in 1985. There was a real calliope there - much bigger than this one. A very impressive sound, but it was only when I listened to the recording I made did I realise just how out of tune it was. With a sound that travels 6 miles, it's no wonder that it's so loud at close quarters the tuning was the last thing on my mind.
With a practical point of view, just think how these monsters are tuned - with a spanner, and coping with scalding hot pipes. These whistles change temperature so rapidly when they are played, it's impossible to get anything like perfect tuning.
Regards,
John

A YouTube link with a difference here! OK, it's not organ-related, but it's still very relevant to any of us who use our instruments for busking in the street:
Competition from other musical buskers is never usually a problem with mechanical organs – they drown any other ‘acts’ out!
What about the silent street entertains then, such as those annoying ‘live statues’? They don’t do anything, so why do people give them money? Even more shocking, watch this ‘experiment’ carried out by the hilariously funny Australian comedy spoof show “Chaser’s War on Everything”…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBkIPUgXyz0
A very good idea indeed! :D (plenty more funny clips from this show on YouTube by the way)

Here's a YouTube link to me playing my John Smith 26. A little "Tooting my own horn." Cranking my own organ, actually.

This isn't organ or mechanical music, rather my favorite college marching band playing their "signature" formation, the incomparable Script Ohio! This shows why they're "The Best D*** Band In The Land", aka. the Ohio State University Marching band!!!

Another performance, aired on ABC during THE GAME, OSU/Michigan 2006:
