The first MP3 player system instrument I made is still doing a great job for me, especially when performing in limited access or wet conditions that would otherwise cause problems with traditional cardboard music such as on my 22-kl organ ‘Twilight’.
I can’t keep everything I make however, so this la-*test*-('") MP3 creation, in a larger case this time for more realism and acoustic resonance properties, is awaiting a new home. Aside from the satisfaction of construction, the main aim behind the production of this one-off machine was to help fund some of the materials I’ll need for the historic 57-key Gavioli restoration project (http://organ.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=873).
