New ideas and uses for YouTube videos! IDEA #1
Have you discovered and used the new YouTube "annotations" tool? I figured it could be adapted for mechanical music videos quite effectively. You can turn the annotations on/off via the triangle symbol at the bottom right of the video picture screen so the video is unaffected. I recycled an older video with some utterly basic information for juvenile total beginners to mechanical music here :

With a little thought (and brevity!) it could be quite useful and make a good educational tool in the future!
IDEA #2
What to do with all that old ephemera that no-one is really ever going to look through? Turn it into a short video to enthuse people to delve further into the subject!

Obviously there's little point in annotating every single one of you videos especially if they just show the same thing as everyone else BUT it might be interesting revisiting a few you made and thinking how they might be adapted. Or, make one that shows lots of interesting things going on instead of just one organ playing a tune. I'm sure there's a lot more novel things to be yet explored!
Happy film-making!
