New Event
Fed up with all the mud and slurry of the Rally Field. Then come to Twinwoods. A new event is being organised for the opening of the Museum over the May Bank Holiday Weekend. May 3rd, 4th and 5th. Everyone is invited and as you know it is all very informal but mainly we have a lot fun There is no end of hardstanding so no getting bogged down and up to your knees in mud. First May Bank Holiday
I have had enquiries from a few people who will come to the Glenn Miller Museum in May. The way the weather is at the moment and the long range forecast it looks as if a lot of the show sites will be too wet to accomodate a rally at the beginning of May. At Twinwoods we have a hard road in and bags of hard standing. Volunteers have been working over the winter to improve the exhibits and site. So, don't forget, all welcome on 3rd,4th and 5th of May . It looks as if there will be a few organs at Twinwoods over the first May bank holiday. If the last few weekends are anything to go by you will be better off coming here. You will be assured of a warm welcome.

May Bank Holiday at Twinwoods
Although not as large as the October Organ Gathering, The Organs at Twinwoods this weekend enjoyed the fine weather and some hilarious goings-on in the indoor bar in the evenings. A variety of musical instruments had been brought along to aid the singers in their renditions of popular melodies. An excellent time was had by all those who came along. My thanks to all those who made the effort. It was so successful that it looks as if this is to become another enthusiasts event in our calendar. Put a note in your diaries for the October Organ Festival. 11th and 12th of October at Twinwoods this year
