Mortier 97 Key Serial # 1000 This organ was imported to the USA in 1969. Until the new century, it resided in the collection of Frank and Hope Rider. Upon purchase, it was transfered to Florida in a custom-built trailer. After a through go-thru to get all pipes playing along with an external blower system to provide adequate wind, a MIDI system was added to provide a nearly unlimited library of songs. The facade was redecorated in 2008. Dick and Dixie Leis are proud of this addition to their collection.<>>

Beautiful. One of the most beautiful dance organs I have ever seen, please do post sound clips in the future.

having just spent the afternoon at St Albans Organ Museum it's surprising how close in case styles these two instruments are. The St Albans one is still in it's original paint scheme or as near as and, I think, is missing a couple of upper corner proscenium chunks and top (which would never fit under the ceiling anyway!) and the one in the picture above has a similarly attenuated facade. They're a lovely instrument when all is working 100%, very enjoyable - I prefer them to the 101 or the 112!
