Limonaire Rollers Does anyone know the dimensions for limonaire rollers?

Hello everyone,
Jake, being as no one has replied I will try & answer your questions.
I assume the keyframe is set up correctly, i.e the roller bearings are the right way up, or the hinge is in the right position on the base & the bridge? It is easy to assume it is the rollers when it could be something not so obvious. Did the keyframe used to work with the current set up?
If you are happy with the rest of the keyframe, then you have to ask whether the rubber on the rollers needs replacing.
Are they hard, glossy & cracked? If so, then you need to have them re-covered. Alan Pell's brother in law has done this for years for some organ builders, as he runs a rubber moulding business. I can find his details for you if you need them.
If they are solid, smooth & have some give in them (just enough to push your finger nail into, like a typewriter roller) & you are absolutely sure that they are too big, then yes you can skim a bit off on the lathe. Make sure you keep them both the same diameter as each other though.
Good luck,
Rob.
