Hooghuys Senior in the movie "Franz"
Jacques Brel made a movie in the early 70's entitled 'Franz'. He asked Romain Hooghuys to arrange four pieces for the 72-key Hooghuys organ "Senior" (a waltz, foxtrot, tango and march (the march is on one of the records)). Thanks to YouTube, there's finally a fragment available of the movie where you can see Romain playing the organ in the movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju7s0LMjOc0 (about 1:10 in the movie).

Wonderful Video. Hooguys Organs have really made a lasting impression on me. Although they are rare. In the entire State of California(in America) thier is only 1 or 2.

Which two Hooghuys are these? (I suppose they're in my list at www.hooghuys.com, but one never knows !)

I know of one In Pasadena(thanks to you and your website) but the second one is just a ramdom guess.

I know the Pasadena one all too well. I've heard the one in the San Fillippo collection as well when it was part of the late Dan Slack's collection.

I wish to see the organ very badly but when I called the place about the organ, the person on the other side hung up right in the middle of the phone call.

I've been trying to contact the owner of the Pasadena organ in the past, but to no avail ...
