Hollycombe Organ Festival 26/27 Jul 08
Does anyone have any details of what will be happening that day?

Hi Jory, I will post full details on the Hollycombe event during the next couple of days. We have a nice line up of visiting organs that will be joining the resident Hollycombe ones, as well as the collections normal attractions such as the working Edwardian steam fairground, railways, traction engines etc. Watch this space! Jory, Just to add to Anthony's reply. The organ festival is the weekend of the 26th & 27th July. The event is larger than late year wth more visiting organs. The extras to the organs will be a fairground model show, a visiting cakewalk, living wagons & lorries. The organ list Anthony will post and more organs are most welcome. The barrel organ will hopefully have its barrel in for the weekend & be driven by the organ engine. My own 31 McCarthy is back in the steam yacht for this season & the collections 45 Limonaire is back in the chairoplanes after a total re-build. Peter

Thanks Peter. I wasn't sure if it was a two-day event or not and have amended the title of this post accordingly. The Hollycombe Collection has to be one of the best backdrops for an organ festival in the Southern counties.
