Looks fun. What kinds of organs are those(and how big are the key wise, how many pipes)?

does anyone have a photo of that full 'Bioscope' type exhbit with the organ and showmans?
Ben Jackson- 09-29-2008
Hi Justin,
The Marenghi is 98 keys (which is on front the bioscope),the organ in the galloper is a Gavioli barrel organ which got converted to play on a odeon disc system, there is 46 or 49 key Limonaire in the middle of the chair-o-planes. Plus there also other 2 organs.

Hi Jake and Justin
If you look at my post of 10th Sept 2006 in the photo gallery you will see a photo of the Bioscope and close ups of the organ and the showmans. There is also a picture of the Limonaire in the chair-o-planes.

Hello everyone,
Ben is right, Jake. The 'Odeon' system is a retro fitted MIDI system where a row of solenoids operate the primary system (or keys, in the case of a berrel organ), made & fitted by Mark Waltham. Other organ builders supply MIDI systems, but Mark's was the only one with a name!
The book or barrel system can still be used, as the solenoids don't interfere with with the original operation of the mechanism.
Rob.
