Shame that its a wurlitzer playing and not the verbeeck. (thats to say Im not against wurlys) Pete Sorry Pete thats the only music i have at this time... its just there really for cosmetic values :)... I have had the good fortune to listen to the verbeeck in action and it does truly sound wonderful playing, the owner as taken much pride with diplaying it..

Looks like one of the organs imported in 1976 via Arthur Prinsen to Arthur Masons. I think the front pipework was added later by Johnny Verbeeck in the 80's. There were at least two 50 key organs (now owned by T&B Farley) imported at the time. I'm not sure if the ex Turners 72 key was part of this too, does anyone know? Regards Robert Washington :org:

Does anyone know any history of the verbeeck organ offered by Pat Collins?

Paul Kirrage- 04-15-2008

There is no real "history" as such as it was newly built when imported by Hubert Nixon. Jeremy Brice's reply (posted elsewhere) sums it up.

Jeremy Brice- 04-15-2008

Hi everyone, There's two threads going on about the same organ - my posting can be found forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1227>here . Jeremy. I owe, I owe, so off to work I go .......
