Unfortunately, it now looks unlikely that Alan Smith's Gasparini street organ 'de Vonderling' will attending as the restoration process is still continuing.
David Downs is hoping to bring his
89-key Gavioli (weather permitting) which will be a rare chance to hear this instrument out of the gallopers. Robert Clarke is bringing his late father Arthur's
84-key Gavioli-Mortier and Bill Wakefield is coming with his
72-key Bursens street organ
'The Little Ship'. The Museum's Chairman Jonny Ling will be playing his
70-key Dutch street organ and he's acquired several new books for it since last year's event. Rob Wichall will be presenting his
49-key Marenghi/Gaudin fair organ and Martin Ivatt's fantastic
Gavioli-style 48-key organ is booked in too as is Colin Holmes with his
30-keyless Chiappa. Lots more organs in the self-build and John Smith categories are coming, so it promises to be another fun show.
